Icat, Imaging Sciences: User problems

We have owned an Icat and used Imaging Science software for years now. It's amazing to me that we rarely have a day where there is NOT a breakdown. Software? hardware? I don't know, except that we seem to be in contact with Imaging Sciences and our techs virtually every day. Most crashes occur in the afternoon;you know,those times when you really need the images, and are hoping to finish-up and go home. We have been extraordinarily patient with them. I have never experienced so many hassles & trouble with ANY computer-related issues in my life.
